The 2007 Yoga Journal Grand Geneva Conference is just days away! We are thrilled that you are joining us this year; we look forward to a weekend full of exciting classes and special events. We want to remind you of some important information to keep in mind as you prepare for the conference.

What to bring:

  • Your mat! Yoga Journal does not supply mats. There will be mats for sale on-site, but it is recommended that you come prepared.

  • Props! Instructors have included required props in their course descriptions, which can be found online at http://www.yjevents.com/yjevents/gg07/index.cfm. If no props are listed, we recommend bringing the props that you typically use in your practice.

  • Layers! Unfortunately, the Grand Geneva Resort was not designed to be a yoga studio - some rooms may be too cool and some will be too warm - we have limited control over the temperature, and suggest wearing layers to keep comfortable.

  • Do not bring valuables to the conference. Unfortunately, theft has occurred at past yoga conferences. Yoga Journal and the Grand Geneva are not responsible for any lost or stolen items throughout the conference.

  • A friend! Registration is still open and single passes will be available onsite. Single class passes also include the free special events of that day.
What to Know:
  • The Grand Geneva Resort and Spa is located at 7036 Grand Geneva Way, Lake Geneva, WI 53147. Their phone number is 888.392.8000.

  • Guest rooms at the main Grand Geneva property are SOLD OUT! However, if you still need accommodations, call the Grand Geneva for availability at their Timber Ridge Lodge. You can also visit our message board at http://www.yjconferenceconnection.com/mb/gg07/gg.html to possibly share a room with a fellow yogi. Use access code 262. Another nearby lodging option is The Cove -- www.cove-lake-geneva.com.

  • When you arrive at the Grand Geneva, you must first stop at the Yoga Journal Registration Desk to pick up your badge and your onsite brochure, which includes complete schedules and locations. The Registration Desk will be located near the front desk off the main lobby.

  • Your badge indicates which classes you are registered for and must be shown at the door to enter all classes and events. If you lose your badge, a replacement will be issued for a $20 fee. Please turn in any found badges to registration. All class changes in Intensive and Main Conference sessions will incur a $10 fee and must be made through the Registration Desk. No class changes will be made for Beginners Conference or Continuing Education for Teachers programs.

  • Continuing Education Credits-Yoga Journal is recognized by the American Council on Exercise (ACE) as a continuing education specialist. Stop by the Registration Desk for information on CECs provided by ACE.

  • Certificates of completion are available at the Registration Desk. You must fill out a certificate request form. We recommend filling out this form early in order to pick up your certificate on site by the end of the conference. There will be a $5 shipping fee for any certificate not picked up at the conference. Certificates will only be mailed on attendees' request.
